Medical student wing of Karnataka under the Only 93 year old Organization in the Nation representing Doctors of the Modern Scientific System of Medicine, Indian Medical Association which was also the founding member of the World Medical Association in 1928.

Our Motto: “TO EMPOWER ENCOURAGE AND EMBELLISH THE FUTURE DOCTORS” We aim to connect Medical undergraduates within Karnataka with students all over India who share similar goals and purposes as IMA, while also providing opportunities for their personal and professional development. We strive to introduce opportunities and develop individuals who are the future of HealthCare in the society and are going to have an enormous impact as Global Youth Leaders of the society on its Healthcare.

OUR MISSION

1. To inform medical students about the working of the Indian Medical Association, with an aim to register them as IMA members who play a role in shaping the future of the Healthcare system in India.

2. To educate students about meaningful student involvement and advocacy as important stakeholders in Medical Education related decisions and prepare them to be responsible and accountable.

3. To provide guidance on future prospects in their medical career and introduce them to medical ethics, research and other important avenues of the Modern Scientific System of Medicine.

4. To identify talented individuals in the network and give them a platform to showcase and hone their skills.

5. To involve medical students in various social and cultural activities and give them opportunities to be a part of National Health Programmes.
